*Introducing: Notes Toward a Future
Just a little series of poems I’ll be sharing now and then—scraps of feeling, memory, and imagination.
Fragments of what we carry. Whispers of what we might build.
Hope they find you gently.
I am holding steady—
as the world breaks and mends our hearts
in equal measure.
Each headline carves a fresh wound,
each small kindness, a thread pulling tight
the torn edges. And still—we claimed
our small victory in this patchwork city,
struck a match against the dark.
There is tenderness in survival,
defiance braided through joy.
To dance while the ground trembles
beneath us is not denial—
it is devotion
to the stubborn life still pushing
green through sidewalk cracks.
So I steady myself—
not untouched,
but unyielding—
rooted in the rhythm
of a world that fractures
and forgives
at once.
